Somehow the guys got started drinking their beers in shot glasses. Guess that way they could say they had 50 shots and were still standing! Silly boys!
I needed a picture to commemorate his visit (and for my blog!). Zoey didn't want to be left out!
Isn't it great catching up with old friends?
But these darling kids deserve every last gift they get. They're the best.
Merry Christmas!
Merry Christmas! May you know love and peace on this very special day. God bless.
Look at that pregnant mama squat! I'm impressed that at 8 months pregnant, Christina would even think about playing this game. She was the only female finalist, so she didn't let that baby bump slow her down!
Here, he looks like he's considering which ornament he will attack first.
A little education for you: when we did the cow eye dissection in Ellea's science class, we saw the back of the eye which just like a cat's eye has this reflective surface called the Tapetum. That's why cows', cats', deer and horses' eyes glow when you see them in your headlights. Fascinating.
Sunday was all about seeing The Muppet Movie. I am a big Muppet fan. I think I was more excited about this movie than my kids were! It was a decent movie, but unless you're desperate to see it ASAP, I'd wait for the DVD. It is fun to see The Muppets in action again for those of us who grew up on them!
When Tony's oldest, Emily (age 13--and then some!), asked me to french braid her hair, I took it as a compliment. This girl takes her hair very seriously. I don't braid much (funny, my girls never ask me to do it), so it took me awhile, but I was pleased with the results. I assume since Emily didn't take it out, it passed her standards as well!
