We've been enjoying the beach on the Salmon River lately. This beautiful, warm, sandy oasis is only 20 minutes from our house. We ought to live there.
The kids told me they wanted to bring our snow sleds along last time. They're made of foam, so why not? I wasn't aware they would play with them the whole time we were there, though! They don't exactly float once they have a body on them, but that didn't dampen anyone's spirits. They still made great "surfboards!"
First you run out in the "surf."
Then you balance on your board and "hang ten!"
