Red Ribbon

This has been a crazy week around the Poxleitner abode for many reasons.  Not least of which it's Red Ribbon Week when the elementary and junior high kids have dress up days.

I missed out on photos on Monday (boo!) which was sad since Ellea won best dressed girl that day.  The theme was Sports and she dressed up as a referee just like her daddy.  She totally rocked the stripes!

Day two for her was Celebrity day which is harder because how easy is it to dress like a recognizable celebrity?  I talked her into borrowing her sister's awesome Bat Man costume that we made for Homecoming week.  She was skeptical that Bat Man was a celebrity, but everyone knows who he is, so he must be a celebrity, right?!

Morgan sported (clean) socks on his hat for Crazy Sock day.  Seemed pretty crazy to me.  And he was an awesome little cowboy on Western day.

He borrowed his sissy's toe socks for Crazy Sock day.  He wasn't a big fan of the feel of toe socks - "they're cutting off my circulation!!!"

Today was Red, White and Blue day for Morgan.  I was pretty pleased with my art skills.  Took the pictures and Morgan announced, "Now don't put that on your blog."  What?  Mom doesn't take pictures that don't go on the blog.   He came around.  I think he secretly loves being on the blog (mostly), but pretends he doesn't to annoy his mother.  It works.  :)
