Queening Season has Begun

So, the Rodeo queening season has officially begun....  We had a fun-filled, exhausting day in beautiful Asotin, Washington (which is just over the border from Lewiston, Idaho) on Saturday.  It was t-shirt weather and it was gorgeous!

Going a little crazy with the glitter!  Poor Jasper.  What will the other horses say?

Mr. Supervisor.  Also, head driver, financier, cheerleader, pooper-scooper and overall moral-support-provider.  Get that man a beer.

Nicole and her favorite helper!  And modeler of chaps!

That's one beautiful queen.

Nicole,
It's been a wonderful reign, made easier and more fun with the help of your trusty side-kick and the whole family as well. Following your journey was a highlight for me ... so thank you sweet girl. Hope you have had the time of your life ... you're so deserving. There will be many more things ahead of you that I know you will make happen by sheer determination. Always keep that special joy in your heart and never lose sight of how much you are loved and admired.
Hugs,
Auntie B.
