Volleyball, Here we Come!

Nicole has completed her first week of volleyball practice. The 7th grade team has about 18 girls on it, so she may not get tons of gametime, but she's having fun. She's grateful there's less running in volleyball than in basketball.

She's like her mom--please don't make me run.

Thank you.

I think running is an acquired activity. Then again, if I had a metabolism as speedy as yours I wouldn't run either. :)

Good luck to your daughter - she looks like a natural born athlete!

PS I stalk your blog and a few others. This particular blogger has a recipe you may enjoy as much as myself ... my husband, who does not like chocolate (oh, the absurdity!) loves this cake:

Your Mom was a pretty good volleyball player ... We used to play at Russellman Park back in the days when the family all lived in sunny, warm California ... together (snif, snif)!

Uncle Larry was a "Killer" on the line. It used to scare me a little to play anywhere in front, oposite him. He could really spike that ball.

I'm with Nicole ... Hated basketball and tennis because of all the running. Volleyball was fun. Love her outfit!

Love Auntie :D
