Volleyball Tournament

Nicole had the first of two volleyball tournaments for the AAU team she's participating in. We drove to Lewiston bright and early for three games. The teams they played obviously didn't have as much experience as our team. They won all three games easily. One the one hand, it was nice to see them get some easy wins under their belt for confidence sake. On the other hand, sometimes a challenge is nice!

We had some great visitors come watch the games. My mom rode down with Ellea, Nicole and I. Poor Morgan had been up the night before with a stomach flu, so he and Glenn stayed home. My brother and his family were there for one game. Glenn's sister, Dori and her two grandkids came for a little while. Glenn's brother and his wife came for the last game, but I felt terrible that the games got ahead of schedule, and we were done for the day when they got there.


As you can see from the above photo, we were sitting right behind the court. It was a tad dangerous. You didn't want to take your eyes from the ball, or it might hit you in the head!
