She got to use her fun new saddle pad that grandma gave her for Christmas.
The horses were very good. It felt great to get outside and enjoy the warm-almost-springlike air. My old man (he's 19 now) was really huffing and puffing after climbing a steep hill, but he did great. I wouldn't want to walk up that hill, so it's hardly fair I make him do it, but like I always tell the kids, life isn't fair!
