Rodeo Time

We attended Family Night at the rodeo in Grangeville over the 4th of July weekend. We all enjoyed the evening and some visiting with Glenn's neice, Wendi and her family. It was the 100th year of "Border Days" in Grangeville so it was a big celebration all weekend.

Nicole and I most enjoyed when they took a break from the rodeo action and brought in some entertainment. It's difficult to see very well, but there is a horse on top of this horse trailer. There were also two HUGE buffulo running around the ring. First the guy rode his horse onto the back of the flatbed pickup and up onto the trailer and then he convinced the buffulo to jump up there with just a few cracks of a whip. It was way cool. The coolest thing was that the announcer told us this horse was once a bucking horse for rodeos.

The show was called the "The One-Armed Bandit and Company." Not sure who had one arm. The rider seemed to have two. I don't know about everyone else, but Nicole and I were big-time impressed by the whole thing.
