Birthday Lunch

Glenn's employer started giving employees the day of their birthday (or some other day of their choosing) off this year.  My schedule gives me Fridays off.  So it was a date!

Of course, in Glenn's mind, there's no such thing as a day OFF from work.  There's always something that could use to be done.  So he got up early (the first cardinal rule of birthdays - you should sleep in, but then, I'm a champion sleeper-inner), drove over to Grangeville and had his snow tires mounted for his company pickup.  I know, it's sad that it's that time of year, but sometimes we have to face reality.

And then it was off to the big city of Lewiston. We did some shopping and had a leisurely lunch at Red Lobster.  It was wonderful.  The waitress even brought out a candle and a coworker and sang him happy birthday.  It was fun.  Happy, happy birthday, Glenn!
