Nicole's Robot

Nicole and all her classmates have to take a one semester “Industrial Arts” class where they learn different engineering and science principles. Her first project that she brought home was a hydraulic “robot.” She thought it was no big deal, but I was blown away when I saw it!

The robot uses syringes and water with food coloring. Water is pushed or pulled from the syringes on the robot to the syringes in the operator’s hand to make the robot move. It can spin from left to right, up and down, and in and out, and the pinchers open and close.

Very cool, if you ask me, but I’m just an un-cool mom.
