I got to tag along as a chaperone on Ellea's field trip to a Forestry and Agriculture Fair this week.
The first station was tree indentification. Ellea was pretty quiet for a forester's daughter. She probably didn't want to show off!
They learned all about growing wheat while they ate pancakes. Then they used their muscles to grind some wheat into flour. Some kids went really crazy turning the crank as fast as they could and wheat flew everywhere! Ellea stuck with slow and steady.
